EVOKE 2010 Posponed!!

EVOKE 2010 has been Re-scheduled to the 6th and 7th of Oct 2010 !!

Due to the Ayodhya Verdict which will be announced today 30th  Sept at 3.00pm , TIMSR Management has come to the Consencus of Posponing the EVOKE 2010 to the 6th of Oct ( Wednesday) and the 7th of Oct ( Thursday).

So if anyone wants to still register for any event or participate for the same you can surely do so till the 3rd of Oct.

The Events will be held as per the following Schedule:

6th of Oct ( Wednesday ):

‎"PRACHAR" has been re-scheduled on the 6th of Oct 2010...9.00am to 2.00pm
"Invisibility to Visibility" will be held on 6th Oct 2010....2.30pm onwards

7th of Oct ( Thursday ):

"SECFUSION" is now re-scheduled on the 7th of Oct 2010....9.00am to 1.00pm
"Corporate Quiz" will be held at 9.30am on the 7th of Oct 2010
"STEP UP...RAAZMATAZZ ALL THAT JAZZ" is now going to be held on the 7th of Oct 2010....2.00pm
"ROCK ON...JAM WITH TIMSR " will be held on 7th of Oct at 4.30pm

We still are hopeful for Active Participation from you all as well as other Students from other Institutes.

“All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy” .Complying to this phrase EVOKE 2010 presents to you yet another fun-filled event “Invisibility to Visibility”.  It is one of the most awaited events of EVOKE 2010.It is a completely new concept designed by the HR Team of TIMSR. This event would be a pack of surprises for all you management nerds.

The event would open with brilliantly designed “MANAGEMENT GAMES” which would take your excitement to a completely different level.

 After these energizing games we have the 1^st     Activity known as “DICE PE DANCE”. This being a  cool outdoor dice game would surely entertain all you guys, making your journey even more exciting.

After  these fun-filled events comes another challenging event “KHOJ” .This event would explore your analytical skills, strategy making techniques and spontaneity .It will be a great brain tonic for all you enthusiasts.

SEC FUSION----Desire to Speculate

Change introduced from Traditional Mock Stock to the new world of Derivatives in TIMSR which requires having a ‘Think-Tank’ process. You can be a Nick Leeson or can bow out from the market as Amaranth Hedge fund.

This will be synthesis of various Derivative instruments so you all need to have fusion in your mind to crack it.
The USP for SECFUSION is introduction of Virtual Weather Derivatives for the first time in a Management Institute. So proudly presenting to you ‘SEC FUSION’ which has never ever been heard before.

Marketing   ke “P” hai char and that’s PRACHAR.A brainchild of TIMSRites,  PRACHAR has been one of the most happening events in EVOKE for all these years.  .

PRACHAR would be a group activity comprising loads of exciting surprises for all you guys. This bunch of surprises would indulge you in ample brain-storming which would be a great tonic to your grey-cells. PRACHAR is not only a marketing event but it also acts as an excellent  platform to hone various skills. These would include communication skills, creativity and team spirit to name a few.

Step Up to the tunes of EVOKE!

We at Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research, aka TIMSR are introducing Step Up! Razzmattazzz, all that jazz. It is our very own manner to celebrate freedom through a dance competition. Just the place, where you shall witness different dance forms from contemporary Style to fusion of Dance forms.

Heads up everyone! Pull up your socks, tighten your laces and put your best dancing foot ahead as we are here with “Step Up” at EVOKE 2010. An exciting Dance event which will put the stage on fire with its dazzling performances in fusion and contemporary style!!! So get in your gears and be honored to participate in our festival – EVOKE the colors of change and also be a part of our happy family - widely known as TIMSR.

Let us take a journey through the essence of Step Up.

The event has two rounds. The theme for the first round for Solo performers is Contemporary and for group performers (with a maximum of 8 team members) is Fusion. The duration for round 2 is 5 minutes for each team.

The second round is a Prop round, in which each participant (group as well as solo performances) shall get 3 minutes to perform.

The last date for registration for the names of groups and solo performers is 28^th of September 2010. The participants are to report for Step Up, 2 hours prior to the event on 1^st of October. Also the music/song set for the dance is to be submitted to us at TIMSR by 29^th of September, 2010 before 17.00 hrs.

Now let me unveil you a bolt of excitement. The judges for our auspicious event are the very known Mayuresh and Vandana of Dance India Dance fame.

So what’s the entire wait for? Evoke the MJ or Madonna in you and come register yourself with Step Up. Let us be honored to serve you as a privileged host.
