Step Up to the tunes of EVOKE!

We at Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research, aka TIMSR are introducing Step Up! Razzmattazzz, all that jazz. It is our very own manner to celebrate freedom through a dance competition. Just the place, where you shall witness different dance forms from contemporary Style to fusion of Dance forms.

Heads up everyone! Pull up your socks, tighten your laces and put your best dancing foot ahead as we are here with “Step Up” at EVOKE 2010. An exciting Dance event which will put the stage on fire with its dazzling performances in fusion and contemporary style!!! So get in your gears and be honored to participate in our festival – EVOKE the colors of change and also be a part of our happy family - widely known as TIMSR.

Let us take a journey through the essence of Step Up.

The event has two rounds. The theme for the first round for Solo performers is Contemporary and for group performers (with a maximum of 8 team members) is Fusion. The duration for round 2 is 5 minutes for each team.

The second round is a Prop round, in which each participant (group as well as solo performances) shall get 3 minutes to perform.

The last date for registration for the names of groups and solo performers is 28^th of September 2010. The participants are to report for Step Up, 2 hours prior to the event on 1^st of October. Also the music/song set for the dance is to be submitted to us at TIMSR by 29^th of September, 2010 before 17.00 hrs.

Now let me unveil you a bolt of excitement. The judges for our auspicious event are the very known Mayuresh and Vandana of Dance India Dance fame.
